José González

José González is a singer-song writer from Sweden. He has released a number of EPs but Veneer is his full-length debut album. It was released in the UK in 2003 and more recently has been released in the United States.

He plays a classical guitar in a laid-back, soothing style. He has a sound and voice similar to Nick Drake, who he seems to be compared to quite often.
